We found a lovely indoor pool, but the room had damp smells.

we had an incredible stay at the village! the club room gave us full access to the pool and spa, and the breakfast was delicious. the staff truly went above and beyond to celebrate my birthday, making us feel special throughout our stay. the gym and health facilities were top-notch, allowing us to unwind completely.

Had a lovely stay! The room provided a cozy retreat, and the friendly staff made us feel welcome. The bar service was excellent, with one wonderful gentleman going above and beyond. Pro tip, don't miss the lounge area for relaxation after a busy day. Worth a visit!

The hotel clearly needs some upkeep. our bathroom had broken tiles and a finicky toilet that struggled to flush, which was pretty inconvenient. The dimly lit double room felt gloomy, and the TV didn’t work—no channels available. On top of that, we were frustrated to find the pool closed for maintenance without prior notification, and the gym was lacking in size compared to others. While the bar area has a lively vibe, it can get a bit rowdy, especially with locals using it as a sports bar. The room conditions felt dated, with unclean furnishings that didn't meet expectations.

Amazing birthday getaway

We had a fab time celebrating my birthday! The club room was super comfy, and the pool access was a real treat. The staff went out of their way to make us feel special, and the breakfast was delish. Only thing? I wished there was a socket by the bed for charging my phone while watching Netflix!

The location offered easy access to Chester, and the large family room was comfortable and clean, accommodating four with ease. the breakfast selection was limited, and we discovered the menu restrictions only upon arrival. some areas in the room were not as thoroughly cleaned as expected.

the village was a nice surprise. the location of our double room was perfect, just a short walk from the main reception. the breakfast served was great, accommodating for food intolerances. we really enjoyed the gym facilities, especially the swimming pool after a long day.

We had a room with a door to an adjoining room where a party was happening. It took a while for the noise to get under control, which was a bit annoying.

Decent stay but service needs work

The room was comfy and spacious, with a huge TV and fresh linens. Enjoyed the buffet breakfast, especially the veggie sausages! Had some hiccups with the burger deal, though—had to chase up food orders that got lost. Staff were friendly, but they need to fix the kitchen issues for smoother dining.
